The New Fall Festival is a Music festival that was established 2011 in Düsseldorf. It is known for it’s variety of international Musicians and Insider-Newcomer from Singer/Songwriter over Indie to Electronic. The festival sets itself apart from others through it’s special and unique concert-locations and the established closeness to the Artists. After producing two moodfilms for the years 2012 and 2013, I wanted to produce a film which, both conceptionally and  spatialy., goes one step further: it’s not only about the musicians, the audience and concert halls but also features a sub-story broaching the issue of “Fall” in a new way.
The Imagefilm tells a story abute the central theme “New Fall”, ich which both words are handled seperately from each other: “New” and “Fall”.
The “New”-topic is shown in the colorful and dynamic shots: the dancing artists, the cheering fans – the flashy, multicolored lightshow. The melancholich-dreamy, in Slow-mo filmed fallow deer represents the “Fall”-theme.
In both of these story-ligns, the most important thing I wanted to show, was what makes the New Fall Festival so unique: it’s possibility to be unbelievably close to the artists.
